Bushtops Safari Camps - East Africa
Bushtops Safari Camps, in East Africa offer some of the most luxurious and immersive safari experiences imaginable. With a deep commitment to conservation and sustainability, this family owned collection of three camps provides an unforgettable and authentic “wild luxury” safari, with front row seats to the iconic wildebeest migration. Camps comprise Mara Bushtops in Kenya and Serengeti Bushtops and Roving Bushtops, a seasonal mobile camp, in Tanzania.
Onguma Safari Camps - Namibia
Onguma Camp Kala launched on 1 November 2022. With just 4 suites in total, personalised service and exclusivity are guaranteed. Offering breathtaking views over an active waterhole and a choice of day bed, plunge pool or hot tub - you can enjoy a safari from the privacy of your suite or head out on a guided walk or game drive on Onguma or the adjoining Etosha. There are also four other lodges, the Onkolo photographic hide and a sleep out under the stars, the Onguma Dream Cruiser.

PR and social media for Travel Promoters and their portfolio of clients in South Africa including Babanango, Cheetah Ridge in Namibiti, Fairlawns in Joburg, Lalibela Game Reserve, Lanzerac, Madikwe Safari Lodge, Rare Earth Retreats, Sala Beach House (pictured) and The Clarendon Collection in Cape Town. They also represent Bushtops Safari Camps in East Africa and White Pearl Resorts in Mozambique.

OurAfrica.Travel is a virtual trade show connecting Africa, Indian Ocean Islands & the Middle East with global travel trade.
It is free for buyers (agents and tour operators) - and affordable for exhibitors.

Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge
Mosetlha is a family owned and run bush camp in the heart of Madikwe Game Reserve. It’s rare nowadays to find a camp that is still charmingly rustic whilst offering an unforgettable, world-class safari experience. This unfenced eco camp is firmly focused on “thrills over frills” and promises an authentic wilderness experience - with a minimal ecological impact. The donkey boiler to ensure hot showers is a firm favourite! Big 5 safaris are the showstopper here - and Mosetlha’s guides are top notch. Jonny was voted in the Top 3 “Specialist Guides” in the World by Wanderlust Magazine UK in 2021.
Recent Projects
Tuk South For Rangers
Jasper, Josh, Ivo and Robbie are four intrepid adventurers who completed a mammoth almost 2 year journey across Africa, driving two “safari-fied” tuk tuks from Kenya to Cape Town, telling stories of sustainable tourism, and raising money For Rangers.
Follow their antics on TikTok and other social channels.

I did a project during lockdown to build up awareness of this collection of some of my favourite lodges and experiences in KwaZulu-Natal including:

We ran a competition and reader offer to boost tourism to the area when restrictions lifted and provided a database of keen consumers who opted in to news & offers from each property.

Ad Hoc PR Projects
Umlingo offers PR services based on as little as 2 days a month to make international PR (UK is the main focus) more affordable for small, sustainable hotels and lodges that don’t have big budgets, but still want a media presence.
I will also consider occasional projects, if and when I have capacity, such as media events.
