Josephine Oosterhuis

“We are delighted that both of our safari camps have been recognised by both Condé Nast Traveler and the World Luxury Hotel Awards. As a proudly Tanzanian owned, home-grown collection, this is a wonderful achievement, especially as Warangi Ridge has only just celebrated its first year of operation!   Asante Sana to our whole team on the ground for which none of this would have been possible - and a sincere thank you to every guest and trade partner that supported us and voted! It is truly appreciated” ‍ ‍

The accolades follow further significant recognition for both properties in the recent Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards, in which Crater’s Edge and Warangi Ridge were voted among the Top 20 Resorts in East Africa. The reader-voted recognition reflects the continued appeal of the lodges among discerning travellers and adds to their growing international profile.

Collectively these awards celebrate the dedication of The Wilderness Collection teams and their focus on creating memorable guest experiences in extraordinary natural surroundings.
