Umlingo Travel PR is proud to announce its new partnership, joining as a Friend of The Long Run, a global, non-profit network for sustainable tourism.

The Long Run is a worldwide community of nature-based tourism businesses united by a shared vision: a world where people, business, and nature thrive together.

Guided by its pioneering 4C framework—Conservation, Community, Culture, and Commerce—The Long Run helps members balance environmental and social responsibility with business viability. Through collaboration and innovation, the organisation supports members in achieving measurable, holistic sustainability outcomes that foster meaningful change across the planet.

This collaboration underscores Umlingo Travel PR’s commitment to transparent storytelling and collaborations that champion responsible travel. Claire Roadley will support the organisation’s mission through sharing her public relations expertise, with over 25 years of experience in the sustainable eco-tourism space.

This collaboration also reunites some of the old team which previously worked together at sustainability start-up Weeva, as Julie Cheetham is the new Chair of The Long Run, Rosie Stubbs is in charge of Communications, Brand and Marketing and Adeeb Edross is their Member Success Manager. Julie has also recently been appointed as CEO of Travalyst.

As a new Friend of The Long Run, Umlingo Travel PR will help amplify these inspiring stories and reinforce the vital link between tourism and conservation in creating a more sustainable future for travel.
