Over the years the show has evolved and streamlined to ensure its core values stand firm: to be innovative, inclusive, accessible, flexible and affordable.  Participants can expect the same platform and easy-to-navigate dashboard for 2026.  Extensive networking pre-show is the key to securing constructive meetings between multiple people around the globe. The additional value is the accessibility to the remote workers and the ability to have multiple team members join meetings.  All participants have complete control over their diaries and availability to accommodate meetings across multiple global time zones.

LEARN, SHARE & GROW

We are proud that our Industry partners will again include Wetu, ATTA®, Nightsbridge, The Travel Hub Collection and Umlingo Travel PR.  This spirit of collaboration and ubuntu (community spirit) is what makes this virtual
show such a success.

Organisers Allie Hunt and Storm Napier

“We were delighted with the overwhelmingly positive feedback received from our latest OurAfrica.Travel show.  The trade support is as strong and loyal as ever and we are very proud of the reputation we have built over the past 5 years.  This reinforces the ongoing need for an evolving, virtual show like ours.”, said Allie Hunt, co-founder.

Co-founder, Storm Napier added that, “For 2026 we have adjusted the dates from February to mid-March as per our participants feedback and as we appreciate February is peak booking season for both trade & product.  We will be ensuring that the show remains seamless, accessible and affordable - both in terms of time and finance.”

THE PREVIOUS SHOW IN NUMBERS

Africa is always considered an exciting, aspirational destination by the trade, and interest was predictably very high in new openings and developments during the 6th  OurAfrica.Travel which took place from 5th – 9th February 2025, with 199 exhibitors meeting with 490 buyers and 47 media from around the globe. An impressive 7,268 meetings took place on the platform over the five days, with 43,954 messages exchanged on the networking chat and over 20,000+ new connections made.

2025 saw a marked increase in attendance by new independent consultants and travel agents, branching out under consortia, across a wider geographical spread, including many new homeworkers who have launched their own agencies. Over 30 news stories were also shared from the exhibitors with both buyers and the media in attendance.

GIVING BACK – CAUSES TO CELEBRATE

In addition to being carbon neutral, OurAfrica.Travel has always been firmly committed to driving sustainable tourism and giving back.  During the February 2025 show a whopping 29 worthy causes and grassroots projects were nominated and showcased - with The Chigamane Primary School in Vilanculos winning the community donation and ParCo Seahorses Project taking the conservation prizeEach received a R15,000 donation from the organisers on behalf of the exhibitors.
